Careers Day – Kings College London
On Saturday 14th October 2017, Helen Smith and Timothy Allen from the Education Training and Career Development Sub-committee represented the BTS at the Royal Society of Biology Bioscience Careers Day at Kings College London. The event was aimed at undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students, but was also attended by careers advisors and school students considering a bioscience degree. The event hosted 449 delegates, 13 invited speakers and 17 exhibitors. 12 talks and over 140 mock interviews were run throughout the day. The stand received lots of interest from students.
