Implementation is all about aligning research design with action to protect human and environmental health. This meeting provides an exciting opportunity to learn from and connect with outstanding scientists who are achieving this goal via HESI’s collaborative scientific programs and other research centers and coalitions. Topics include the future of health wearables, aflatoxin risk assessment in rural Africa, the role of ‘impact investing’ in biomedical progress, enhancing cancer patient quality of life, and more.
Scientists from the biomedical, environmental, and food safety fields as well as those with interest in how to effectively design and conduct collaborative, interdisciplinary science to meet contemporary public health challenges should attend. Registration is open to all and there is no registration fee for HESI members or non-member delegates from Government, Academia, Research Institutes or Foundations.
